is very important for me and for everyone in the community
of Santa Cruz, Bolivia, to thank you all for giving us
Casa de Sara and for serving our humblest of people.
Casa
de Sara is a treasure that gives hope to the children,
the community, and the country. I want to give thanks
from Bolivia to Lori, the Board, and, mostly importantly,
the donors and contributors who have given us opportunity,
education, work, love, and the privilege to make changes
in our lives for the better.
In
the eight years of Casa de Sara (six years in our school),
we have experienced many challenges and faced many needs
of our poor community, where everyday life is immensely
diffi cult. Much of the time in our country, it is very
difficult to hope or envision a brighter future, especially
now due to the political problems that oppress us. But,
when we speak of Casa de Sara, we speak of measurable
positive work, discipline, order, and mostly hope! continued
