ur children are nearing the end of their schoolyear and it has been a blessed year of learning thanks to you–our supporters. Most of you who give your donations will never have the opportunity to see first-hand the amazing changes in our students’ and their parents’ lives. Before our Escuelita existed, these children had very limited educational opportunities, if any at all. Their health was failing and they faced a bleak future. Take a moment to look at our photos and see the smiling faces. You are making a difference not only in the lives of young children but also you are investing in the future. Bolivia is an impoverished country with many social, economic and political problems–but there is hope! One day soon these children will be adults and with your help they will be more equipped to make their country a better place to live.

Casa de Sara strongly believes in the value of education and we have been excited to extend our program to include a first grade class this school year. Our Montessori-style classroom offers our students an exciting opportunity to gain knowledge in a unique methodology that encourages independence and creativity.

Although education is important to children, we also believe in the value of healthy socialization and playtime. Thanks to some friends and donors in Nairin, Scotland, we were able to build a wonderful playground for our children, which they enjoy on a daily basis. Our goals moving forward are challenging, but your contributions and support make it possible to achieve our dreams. Please never forget how very thankful the Casa de Sara team is for people like you.
